I did my entry into the labor market as a trainee at Ericsson. Thereafter, I continued my career in the company as contract administrator and a few years later, received a promotion and I became project manager. I worked on projects in the telecommunications, radio and datacom areas with clients from private and government sectors. I gained experience in the project management and coaching staff. My greatest achievement was the installation of two Mobitex datacom networks in the cities of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. This project involved the coordination of multidisciplinary teams; timelines were very tight and limited budget. This project was the first of its kind in Brazil.

Ericsson is a company that I know since I was child. Because my father worked to a telecom company in São Paulo’s state and I used to visit him there, I often saw the Ericsson’s logo in the equipemnts of the company. The big Telephone Stations closed in a special room that for me was me most high-tech equipement that I had contact. By coincidence or not , some years after I started working at Ericsson, and I got the opportunity to know more about the history of this Fantastic Company. Since Mrs. Lars Magnus Ericsson started in 1876 with his mechanical engineer shop, until today, with a company present in more than 175 countries. Ericsson is a world-leading provider of telecommunications equipment and related services to mobile and fixed network operators globally. I used to hear that 40% of the mobile calls in the world are made through Ericsson’s equipments. As an admirer of Ericsson’s History I used to look for articles about the company, so here is a nice link to the people who researchs details of this great enterprise.
